Yesterday I woke up with sisterhood on my mind, so much so that I made my morning post about it! Not even three hours later my #businessbestie Kirsten King, owner of D30 Marketing & Promotions called me about an event being held Columbus, GA the same day!
We quickly gathered our selves, like any "Chyc Entrepreneur" would and prepared for a night of networking and branding at the swanky Parisian themed bakery and cafe, My Boulange.
We were greeted by co-presenter Diamond S. Hill, known as "The Brand Psychologist" for her therapeutic approach to branding and ailing her client's branding woes. She introduced us the panel of speakers who were all knowledgeable in their respective areas which ranged from starting a non profit organization to self love. But it was the overall theme of the event that had the biggest impact on me: Sisterhood.
Each speaker took attendees through an interactive exercise that forced us to deal with our obstacles but also to identify our strengths. The speakers also keyed in area that every entrepreneur should focus on as such as paperwork, social media, and personal branding. The event's other co-presenter Tiara LaRae, a millennial entrepreneur and owner of The TLJ Collection, gave attendees a preview of her Dream Map concept by completing an interactive exercise as a group.
